What is Atopic Dermatitis?
Atopic dermatitis (AD), also known as eczema, is an often chronic skin condition that leads to dry and scaling patches on the skin. It is often itchy, sometimes intensely so. Topical treatment and good skin care often can alleviate many of the signs and symptoms of the disease. For those with severe or recalcitrant involvement, we can help!
Now Enrolling - Upadacitinib (Study Drug) vs Dupilumab (medication currently FDA approved for Atopic Dermatitis).
Who Qualifies?
Moderate to Severe Diseae
Age 18-75
Symptoms for Three Years or Greater
At least 10% Body Surface Involvement
What Benefits will Study Participants Recieve?
Free Treatment for Eligible Patients
Recieve $50 per visit and free emollient moisturizer
24 weeks of Dupilumab or Upadacitinib (Study Drug)
What is Upadacitinib?
Upadacitinib is a study medication currently being investigated in the treatment of atopic dermatitis, rheumatoid arthritis, psoriatic arthritis, inflammatory bowel disease, as well as other various systemic inflammatory disorders. It is a pill that is taken orally (by mouth), and is a small molecule that is a JAK-1 selective inhibitor.
